Patricia Kling Burnley, the co-founder of Kitchen Kettle Village, grew up in this Lancaster County farmhouse. Back then, to the family, it was simply called "home". Today, after nurturing three generations of Pat's family, it's known as the Kling House Restaurant (after Pat's family name) and retains the same charm of an old farmhouse.
Few renovations were done when converting the house to a restaurant. The porch, living room, dining room and office remain in tact and the rooms are decorated with antiques and family mementos, preserving the history and legacy of the farmhouse. |
